. Post Natal Care Centre
Putra Medical Centre has set up Level 2(old wing) into a Post Natal Care to cater for mothers who have domestic problems at home as well as difficulty in employing a reliable confinement maid to look after their babies.
Mothers do not have to worry over her post delivery problems as they will be well taken care of.
Babies are also well cared by experienced medical staff together with fulltime ward assistance.
Meals are prepared accordingly to suit for confinement mothers. Meal includes : Breakfast, lunch, dinners, tea plus night drink with biscuits.
Back at home, families do not have to worry on marketing problems as well as worries over the well being of their babies, feeding techniques and sterility of baby utensils during the first 4 weeks of stay.
By end of 4 weeks all will be fine with mother and child when they are discharged from centre.

. Nursing Care Centre
PMC has extended a spacious ward at level 3 (old wing) to cater for Rehabilitative cares.
It provides nursing and residential care for the needs of individuals.
The aim of the centre is to provide a facility whereby the residents are able to live as independently as possible in a warm, friendly and secured environment, thereby provide peace of mind for their loved ones who will know that their grandparents, parents or other close relatives are safe and well cared for.
We are only having a total of 22 beds: Single, double and 3 bedded room only. For those who prefer to stay at a more special private room, the VIP rooms are available at 7th floor (new wing) under monthly package as well.
We are all trained to cater for the nursing skills of those who are totally bed ridden, semi independent, totally independent irrespective of old or young patients who require rehabilitative care.
We also cater for post accident cases who are bed ridden, paralyzed who requires rehabilitative care and physio.
The specialist consultants and medical officers are available 24 hours round the clock to cater to the urgent and normal consultation needs of the in-house residents at this centre which is housed within the main specialist centre itself.

Ambulance services on stand-by to answer emergency calls. It is air-conditioned and is equipped with resuscitative items and other necessary equipments. The treatment of acutely ill or injured patient is carried out by trained doctors and emergency nurses. Ambulance will also provide transportation services for inpatients and outpatients.

A&E Department is open 24 hours, 365 days a year managed by PMC in house medical officers.

Accident and Emergency Department of PMC has;
Triage zone – when large number of patients arrive at the same time, patient with medical priorities are treated first. When patient with life-threatening problems are stabilized in this area by team of specialist doctors and nurses. The red triage zone is fully equipped with monitors, defibrillators and ventilator.
Back-up Support – The emergency department is backed up by 24 hours Blood Bank, Laboratory and Diagnostic imaging facilities.
. Admission & Report
Patients are advised against leaving money, jewellery, handphone or others valuable items unattended during their stay in the hospital . The hospital will not be liable for any loss or damages to such items
All cash/insurance patients are required to place a deposit upon admission.
The deposit will be utilised against patients’ final bills and any balance due will be refunded to patient within 14 days from the date of discharged.
This department is responsible to:
• Register the new or repeat case before the patient can proceed to the facilities
• Retrieve and filing all patient medical record.
• Preparing medical report request.
• Register patient for admission for cash, insurance and panel company.
• Process medical health insurance for guarantee letter
Note: Please bring along with you the following documents to facilitate a proper admission: Malaysian Identity Card (NRIC), Birth Certificate for under 12 years old/ My Kid, Medical health card and Passport if not a Malaysian Citizen.
The Putra Medical Centre Hospital Pharmacy provides a wide range of pharmacy and medical services to in-patients, out-patients and the community. The scope of services is wide, and includes the following:
• Out-patient prescription service to both internal and external patients with an estimation of 300-500 prescriptions daily
• Provide counseling for patients with special needs on the usage of medications and devices.
• KCL dilution for in-house patients according to the standard.
